Ingame Environment Art

Been working on some ingame environments for the Bake Kujira Indie Game. I want to go for a lot of different landscapes to utilize the diversity of Japan to its fullest.
Akihi, the protagonist, spends a lot of time on the open waters and this is how I imagine it to look like with its side scrolling.
